What’s up, yinz- 30 May 2017

Welcome to the Pittsburgh Graffiti Project! This page is devoted to curating and cataloging graffiti in the Pittsburgh region. I’ve been rolling this idea around in my head for quite some time, but back in March I finally took the plunge and created the Twitter account which will continue to be the center of my efforts on this project. The goal here is simple- take photos of graffiti that is eye-catching, thought-provoking, or uniquely Pittsburgh, and submit them to the Twitter account @pgh_graffiti or use the hashtag #PGHgraffiti. I’m still working on how I will arrange the tags on this page, but for right now this little intro can suffice. Pretty soon, you can expect to see full photo galleries of various graffiti, cataloged by name, type, and neighborhood. Or that’s the plan, at least.

Featured tag: Various, Lawrenceville.
Featured tag, May 30: Various, Lawrenceville.

Till I get more content up here, you can dig this featured tag (or in this case, a swarm of tags) that I found on the back of a warehouse in Lawrenceville. I’ll try and get some more stuff up here in the next week or so.

Cheers,
